About
Olivia Siena Robertiello is an artist who draws inspiration from nature, food, culture, and human connection. She is curious about exploring the human condition and our intrinsic place within the natural world, and aims to utilize art to motivate a shift away from an anthropocentric worldview.
Her work reflects her fascination with finding the magnificence in the assumed mundane. She is particularly fascinated by the human condition and is inspired by the interdependence between humanity and the greater ecosystem, specifically interested in themes of environmental anthropology, food systems, culture and community.
Olivia graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Photography and Related Media, and a dual minor in Psychology and Integrative Wellness. She has previously earned an Associate of Applied Science degree from FIT in Advertising and Marketing Communications. Olivia is enthusiastic about learning and continues to engage in courses at various institutions.
In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, making art, writing and reading poetry, and practicing yoga. Olivia loves to travel, meet new people, see new places, and is committed to expanding her worldview. She also finds fulfillment and purpose in volunteering for various causes, and is deeply passionate about regenerative agriculture, working with people with special needs, providing companionship for senior citizens, designing and rebuilding community-based infrastructure, supporting climate focused research, aiding both domesticated and endangered wild animals, and engaging in public policy driven by social equity.
Olivia values connections with people who are goal oriented and driven by the urge to serve the greater world around us. She is currently working towards a career doing ethnographic field work in photography, cinematography, creative direction and production, and journalism.
Work
Olivia is eager about expanding her artistic work, and is currently prioritizing building a portfolio that explores the complexity of the human condition as interconnected within a greater biological system. She is passionate about photojournalism, documentary, portraiture, environmental, and food photography.
Olivia continues to communicate her enthusiasm in collaborating with brands, non-profits, and industry professionals that prioritize sustainability, community, and vulnerability.
